SUMMARY:Receiving the Marrow by Bowing - Online Study Group
DESCRIPTION:In this Fall online study group\, we will read and discuss Dogen’s fascicle “Receiving the Marrow by Bowing” (using the translation from “Treasury of the True Dharma Eye: Zen Master Dogen’s Shobo Genzo”  by Kazuaki Tanahashi). Together we’ll sit\, check in with each other\, read aloud\, and discuss how this text connects with our lived experiences.  We can explore what it means to embody his principle “receiving the marrow”  in the hubbub of life. \n\n\n\nAssociate teacher Onryu Kennedy\, Adam Isshin Kokotovich\, Darin Musho Podulke-Smith\, Rachel Seiren Vilsack will be facilitators for this four week study group. We will meet online via Zoom for four Mondays: October 13\, 20\, 27\, and November 3 @ 6:30 – 8:00pm\, Central Time.
