Mountain Seat Ceremony: Stepping Up and Stepping Down

After some 23 years as Guiding Teacher, Rev. Dokai Georgesen will be officially retiring on September 8, 2026. In honor of his retirement, we planned to have a Mountain Seat Stepping Down Ceremony. However, it turns out that one needs to have had a Stepping Up Ceremony to have a Stepping Down Ceremony. Please join us for both on August 30.
